Snabb — Terms of Use

Last updated: 22 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Snabb app and the Snabb website. They are a contract between you and Snabb. Please read section 1 first: it explains the thing everything else depends on, which is that Snabb is a directory, not a shop. We do not sell food, take orders, handle payments or deliver anything.

Sections 1 to 9 apply to everybody. Sections 10 to 15 apply if you run a restaurant listed here. Sections 16 onwards apply to everybody again.

These terms replace every earlier Snabb agreement, including the separate Customer, Partner and General Terms. Those described a delivery platform — orders placed through Snabb, riders, delivery fees, cash on delivery, monthly subscriptions paid by bank transfer. Snabb does none of that now. Anything an older version of those pages said no longer describes what Snabb does.

1. Who we are, and what Snabb does

1.1 Who we are. Snabb operates in Pakistan at snabb.pk. Contact us at [email protected]. In these terms "Snabb", "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means whoever is reading — someone using the app, or a restaurant listed on it.

1.2 What the platform does. Snabb is a restaurant directory. It lists restaurants in Pakistan, shows what they serve and charge, their opening hours and where they are, and gives you their phone number. That is the whole of it. When you have found somewhere, you ring the restaurant yourself, or message them on WhatsApp. Everything after that — what you order, what it costs, how it reaches you, what you pay — is between you and the restaurant.

1.3 What Snabb is not. Stated plainly, because it decides who you go to when something goes wrong:

Snabb is not the seller of any food. We own no stock, set no prices and sell you nothing. Snabb is not a party to any transaction between you and a restaurant, and takes no commission and no share of anything you pay them. Snabb is not a food business — we do not cook, store or handle food, and the food licence sits with the restaurant. Snabb does not deliver and employs no riders. Snabb holds no customer money: no payment for food passes through us at any point, and we cannot refund what we never received. Snabb does not take your order. The app can open your dialler or WhatsApp with your selection written out to save you typing, but the message is sent by you, from your phone.

1.4 The selection list. The app lets you tick items and shows a total. That is a note to yourself and a convenience for writing a message. It is not an order, it reaches nobody until you send it, and the restaurant's own prices when you ring are what apply.

1.5 Accepting these terms. You accept them by creating an account, signing in, or continuing to use Snabb. That works electronically under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002. You confirm you have capacity to enter this agreement and, if accepting for a business, that you are authorised to bind it.

2. Your account

2.1 You do not need one. You can search Snabb, open any restaurant, read its full menu and prices, see its hours and ring it without ever creating an account. An account exists so you can save favourites, leave a review, and talk to support.

2.2 Creating one. You can sign in with Google, with Apple, or with an email address. You must be old enough under Pakistani law to enter a contract, and the details you give must be your own and accurate.

2.3 Keeping it. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us at once if somebody else has it. You are responsible for what is done through your account until you tell us.

2.4 Closing it. You can delete your account in the app at Profile → Delete account, or on the website at snabb.pk/delete-account. Reviews you have written stay on the restaurant's page under a masked name. The Privacy Policy explains what is kept and why.

3. Listings, menus and prices

3.1 Where the information comes from. Snabb writes most of its own listings. Our staff type up a restaurant's menu, hours, address and phone number from what it publishes or gives us, which means a restaurant is often on Snabb before its owner has heard of us. Other listings are maintained by the restaurant itself after it has claimed them. A listing shows when its menu was last confirmed, and that date is the honest measure of how much to trust the prices on it.

3.2 It can be wrong, and that matters. Menus change, prices rise, kitchens close on a Tuesday and phone numbers get reassigned. We correct listings when we are told, but we cannot promise any listing is accurate, complete or current, whether we compiled it or the restaurant did. Before you travel, or rely on a price, ring the restaurant and confirm. That is the most useful sentence in these terms, and it is why every listing carries a phone number.

3.3 Allergens and ingredients. Item descriptions are written by restaurants. We do not inspect, verify or certify what is in any dish, and we hold no allergen data. If you have an allergy or a dietary requirement, confirm it with the restaurant before you order. Do not rely on Snabb for this.

3.4 Being listed is not a recommendation. A restaurant appearing on Snabb does not mean we have inspected it, eaten there or verified its licences. Where we mark something as a suggestion, that is an opinion — not an assurance about hygiene, safety or quality.

3.5 Telling us something is wrong. Use Profile → Help & support, or write to [email protected]. Often we cannot know without you. If it is your restaurant, claim the listing under section 10 and correct it yourself.

3.6 Advertising and featured placement. Some restaurants pay to be promoted, and that is part of how the directory is funded. It changes where a restaurant appears. It never changes what you can find out. Every listing shows its full menu, real prices, hours, address and a working phone number, whatever the restaurant pays us — including restaurants that pay nothing. No restaurant can pay to make a rival show less.

4. Dealing with a restaurant

When you ring or message a restaurant you found on Snabb, any agreement you reach is entirely between you and them — what you order, the price, delivery or collection, how long it takes, how you pay, and what happens if something is wrong with the food. Snabb is not a party to it, does not see it, and cannot enforce it either way. If the food is late, wrong or not what you were told, the restaurant is who you take it up with.

We will listen if you tell us a restaurant is behaving badly, and we may act on the listing. But we cannot obtain a refund for you out of money we never handled.

5. What Snabb costs you

Nothing. Snabb is free for people looking for somewhere to eat. No fee, no subscription, no delivery charge, no service charge — because there is no transaction between us. What you pay for food, you pay the restaurant on terms you agree with them.

6. Reviews and ratings

6.1 Who can leave one. Anyone signed in can review a restaurant. We do not require proof that you ate there, because Snabb takes no orders and has no way to know who ate where — a proof-of-purchase check would be theatre. That openness is deliberate, and 6.2 is what keeps it honest. You may leave one review per restaurant, and edit or delete it at any time. Your name is shown masked.

6.2 What a review must be. Your own genuine experience of that restaurant. Do not post anything false or about a place you have not been to; anything defamatory about the business or a person who works there; abuse, threats or slurs; somebody else's personal information; or anything written to attack or promote a business rather than describe a meal — including reviews you were paid to write, and reviews written by or for the restaurant itself.

6.3 What we can do about one. We may hide any review that breaks 6.2. A star rating still counts towards a restaurant's average even where its text is withheld, because the rating is your view of the meal and the text is a separate thing that can go wrong on its own. We do not remove a review because a restaurant dislikes it. A restaurant may tell us why it thinks a review breaks these rules and we will look — that is the whole of it.

6.4 A restaurant cannot review itself. An owner cannot rate or review their own listing.

7. Stories

Some restaurants post short video clips on their listing. A Story is posted by the restaurant, not by us, and is its content and responsibility. Every Story is reviewed by Snabb before it appears — a restaurant cannot publish its own. Stories come down by themselves after a set period. You can like, save and comment on them with an account; comments are subject to 6.2. Some Stories are sponsored and are marked as such.

8. Favourites

With an account you can save restaurants. They are yours, visible only to you, and they go when your account goes.

9. How you must behave

Do not use Snabb to harass, threaten, defraud or defame anybody. Do not use the contact details on Snabb to send marketing, make hoax orders, or collect numbers for any other purpose. Do not scrape, copy, mirror or republish the directory. Do not impersonate anyone, and do not attempt to interfere with the app or the site or to reach accounts or data that are not open to you.

The phone numbers on Snabb belong to working businesses. Misusing them is the fastest way to lose your account, and we will co-operate with a restaurant that reports it. Some conduct of this kind is also an offence under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016, and we will comply with a lawful order.

Security research: if you find a vulnerability, tell us at [email protected] and give us a reasonable chance to fix it. Do not access anyone else's data and do not publish the detail until it is fixed. Report it that way and we will not treat it as a breach of these terms.

Snabb will never ask you for your password, a one-time code, a card number or your banking details. If someone does, it is not us.

10. For restaurants: claiming your listing

10.1 Your listing may already exist. Snabb writes most of its own listings, so yours may already be here. Claiming it costs the same one-off joining fee as adding a new one (section 11), and does not put you on a paid plan: a claimed listing starts on the free plan.

10.2 What we need. An identity document for the person claiming, and proof that you run the business — a utility bill for the premises, a licence, or equivalent. Both are required, and both are visible only to you and to the staff reviewing the claim. Your listing must also be complete before you can submit it; the app shows what is missing.

10.3 What we do with it. A person reviews every claim and rings the number on the listing. That check is the point: a directory where anybody can take over anybody's page is worth nothing to you or to a customer. More than one person may claim the same restaurant until one is approved; competing claims are then refused and told why. If we refuse your claim we tell you the reason, and you can fix it and try again.

10.4 Approved is not live. Approval means the documents passed and the restaurant is yours to manage. Publishing is a separate decision and is when customers can see you. We may decline either, and will tell you why.

11. For restaurants: adding a listing, and the joining fee

11.1 The fee. If your restaurant is not on Snabb at all, you can add it in the app. Building the listing is free. A joining fee is charged once, when you send the listing for review — whether you are adding a new listing or claiming one Snabb wrote. The amount is shown in the app before you pay.

11.2 Why there is a fee. Because somebody has to check every restaurant and every person claiming one — that it exists, that the number answers, that the menu is the menu, and that the person asking runs the place. The fee is also the only cost a false claim carries, which is why it is charged on both doors. The fee pays for the check, not for the outcome.

11.3 It is not refundable. The joining fee is non-refundable, including if we reject the listing. This is stated in the app before you pay and follows from 11.2: the work is done either way. The fee is charged as an in-app purchase through Apple or Google, who are the sellers of record. Each runs its own refund process and may refund at its own discretion; that is their decision, not ours to make or override.

11.4 What it gets you. The review, the listing if approved, and a period of featured placement on approval. The app shows the current figure.

12. For restaurants: plans

12.1 Gate promotion, never information. Snabb has a free plan and paid plans. One rule binds all of them: no plan hides your menu, your prices, your hours, your address or your phone number. Every listing shows all of those on every plan, including the free one. A customer who cannot find them has been failed by Snabb, not by you. The paid plans add reach — more photos, Stories, a WhatsApp button, placement. They never add information, and no restaurant can pay to make a rival show less.

12.2 The free plan is free for life. It is not a trial and does not expire.

12.3 The paid plans — Standard and Premium — are monthly, automatically renewing subscriptions, and what each adds is shown in the app beside its current price. On an iPhone they are sold through the App Store and on Android through Google Play; Apple or Google is the seller of record and charges your Apple Account or Google account when you confirm the purchase. Each plan runs for one month and renews automatically at the price shown unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current month. You manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, not in Snabb — deleting the app does not cancel it. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the month already paid for, then falls back to the free plan (12.4). Refunds for a subscription are Apple's or Google's to decide under their own policies; Snabb does not refund part of a month. On an iPhone the app itself is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies alongside these terms.

12.4 If a paid plan lapses, your listing falls back to the free plan. Nothing is deleted and nothing is hidden — your menu, prices, hours, address and phone number stay exactly as they are, because those are on every plan. What you lose is the promotion you were paying for.

13. For restaurants: featured placement

13.1 What it is. Featured placement is advertising. You buy a position for a period of days in a particular area, and your listing appears higher in that area while it runs. Durations, areas and prices are shown in the app.

13.2 What it is not. It is not a badge, and a customer is not told you paid. It does not change your listing. It does not hide, demote or filter out any other restaurant. It is not an endorsement by Snabb, and buying it does not affect how we handle a claim, a review or a complaint about you.

13.3 How you buy it, and refunds. Featured placement is sold as an in-app purchase through Apple or Google, who are the sellers of record. It is not refundable through Snabb — once a placement is running you have had the advertising and there is nothing to give back. Apple and Google each run their own refund process at their own discretion. If you buy a second placement while one is running, the new one extends the existing period rather than overlapping it, so you never pay twice for the same days. We may decline to sell or run a placement for a restaurant that is suspended or under review.

14. For restaurants: your listing and your responsibilities

14.1 Accuracy. Everything on your listing must be accurate — the name, address, phone number, hours, menu, prices and descriptions. A customer decides to ring you on the strength of what you wrote. Confirm your menu when it changes; the date shown tells a customer how much to trust it.

14.2 Answer the phone. The number on your listing is the whole point of your listing. Keep it working and answered during the hours you say you are open.

14.3 Licences and food safety. You must hold and keep valid every registration and licence your business needs, including from the food authority with jurisdiction over your premises. Food safety in Pakistan is provincial, so which authority that is depends on where your restaurant is. Tell us if a licence is suspended, cancelled or refused, or if a regulator takes enforcement action against you.

14.4 The sale is yours. You sell the food. The contract of sale is between you and your customer, and the Sale of Goods Act 1930 and the consumer protection law of your customer's province apply to it. Snabb publishes your information; it does not buy, resell or broker anything.

14.5 Allergens. If an item contains a common allergen, say so in the item description. We do not inspect or verify ingredients and cannot warrant them to a customer.

14.6 Conduct. Treat customers, other restaurants and Snabb staff with respect. Do not use another business's name, brand or photographs. Do not post fake reviews of your own restaurant or anyone else's, do not pay for reviews, and do not ask a customer to change one.

14.7 Non-exclusive. Listing on Snabb does not stop you being anywhere else. We take no commission, so there is nothing to route around, and we require no exclusivity of any kind.

15. For restaurants: coming off Snabb

15.1 You can ask to be removed. A restaurant that does not want to be listed does not get listed. Write to [email protected] asking for your listing to be removed.

15.2 What we need. Because Snabb writes most of its own listings, the person asking is often somebody we have never verified. So we need enough to be satisfied you are who you say you are — an identity document, and something showing you run the business. If you have already claimed the listing, you have done this and we will act on your request. We ask for this to protect you: a directory where anyone can have anyone's page taken down is as bad as one where anyone can take it over.

15.3 What happens. We take the listing down. We are not going to argue with you about it or make you justify it.

15.4 What removal does not do. It does not refund a joining fee already paid, or a featured placement already run. It does not delete records we are required to keep — see the Privacy Policy.

16. Intellectual property

16.1 What is ours. The Snabb name, logo, apps, website, software, design and copy are ours or licensed to us. Using Snabb gives you no ownership of any of it. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Snabb for what it is for — to find a restaurant, or to manage your own listing. Do not copy, adapt, decompile, reverse-engineer, republish, frame, scrape or mirror the platform, and do not copy the directory in whole or in substantial part. Nothing here restricts anything you are expressly permitted to do by law.

16.2 What is a restaurant's. Your name, logo, menu content, descriptions, photographs and Stories remain yours. Compiling a listing does not make it ours.

16.3 The licence you give us. When you put something on Snabb you keep it, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize, crop and reproduce it for the purpose of running and promoting Snabb, for as long as it is on Snabb and for a reasonable period afterwards in archived material. We need this for the plainest possible reason: without it we cannot show your listing to a customer. You confirm you have the right to grant it and that what you upload infringes nobody else's rights.

16.4 Using the Snabb name. You may say you are on Snabb and use the badges we supply, in the form we supply them. Do not alter them, do not imply we endorse your food, and do not use our name in your own domain, app, signage or packaging without our written permission.

16.5 Complaints about infringement. Write to [email protected] with enough detail to identify the material and your right in it. We will look at it and, where the complaint is made out, remove it.

17. Messages we send you

We send email about your account — signing in, verifying your address, and replies to your support messages. If you have a listing, we send notices about it. If you turn on notifications we may send occasional messages about restaurants and offers, and you can turn those off in the app or from any email we send. Account, security, listing and legal notices are not optional while you have an account, because they are sent for the account rather than for marketing.

18. Availability

We work to keep Snabb running and do not promise it always will be. It may be unavailable during maintenance, during a failure, or because something outside our control has broken, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any feature. We do not offer compensation for Snabb being unavailable.

19. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account, or take a listing down, where these terms have been broken and it cannot be or has not been put right; where we reasonably suspect fraud, impersonation or conduct of the kind in section 9; where a licence a restaurant needs is missing, expired, refused or withdrawn; where there is a risk to a person's safety; or where we are required to by law.

We will normally tell you before we act, and will always tell you the reason afterwards. We may act first and explain immediately after where there is a real risk to a person or to the security of the platform. If you think we have got it wrong, write to [email protected]. We will review it and reply. Nothing in this section takes away your right to go to court or to a consumer forum. You can close your account at any time without telling us why.

20. Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any right a consumer has under the consumer protection law of their own province or territory.

Subject to that: we are not responsible for the food — its quality, safety, ingredients, price, or whether it arrives; that is the restaurant's responsibility. We are not responsible for a listing being out of date beyond correcting it when we learn of it. We are not responsible for a dispute between you and a restaurant, or for anything a restaurant does or fails to do. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, and a verified claim means the documents were checked — it is not a character reference. We are not liable for loss of profit, business or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by your own breach, by somebody using your account because you did not keep it secure, or by the failure of a network, device or service outside our control.

Caps. Against a restaurant, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what that restaurant actually paid Snabb in the twelve months before the claim arose. Against a consumer we state no cap: liability to a consumer cannot lawfully be limited by a contract term under the provincial consumer protection Acts, so a figure here would not be enforceable and we are not going to print one to look reassuring.

One point of substance, so nobody is misled: a consumer's statutory claim about defective goods lies against whoever supplied them. For food that is the restaurant. For Snabb itself it is us. We say this so a complaint reaches the party who can actually resolve it.

Indemnity from a restaurant. If Snabb is sued, fined or made to pay because of food you sold, a licence you did not hold, content you uploaded that infringes somebody's rights, or your breach of these terms, you will cover what we reasonably have to pay, including reasonable legal costs. This does not cover anything caused by our own breach or negligence. We will tell you about a claim promptly, will not settle without asking you, and will let you take over the defence where reasonable. This does not apply to a consumer, except in the case of their own fraud.

21. Complaints

Write to [email protected], or open Profile → Help & support in the app.

Start with the right party. A complaint about the food, the price or the service of a restaurant goes to the restaurant — they are who you dealt with and the only ones who can fix it. Tell us as well if a listing misled you, or if you think a restaurant should not be on Snabb; that part is ours.

What we can and cannot put right. Snabb holds no customer money and issues no credits, vouchers or refunds of anything you paid a restaurant. What we can do is correct a listing, act on a pattern, and take a listing down. We would rather say that plainly than imply we can pay you something we cannot. We will acknowledge a complaint within two business days and aim to resolve it within ten.

22. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms — when the law changes, when the product changes, or when something turns out to be unclear. The current version is always at snabb.pk/terms with the date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect: at least 14 days beforehand for customers, and 30 days for restaurants. Continuing to use Snabb after a change takes effect means you accept it. A change never applies backwards — a joining fee paid, or a featured placement bought, is governed by the version in force at the time.

23. Everything else

Whole agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Snabb on their subject and replace anything said before. This does not limit liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.

Assignment. You may not transfer your account or these terms without our written consent; a restaurant that changes hands is a new claim, with new documents. We may transfer these terms to a company that acquires our business, provided your rights are not reduced.

Severability. If a court decides any part of these terms is unenforceable, that part is read down to the minimum extent needed to make it valid, or struck out if it cannot be. The rest continues.

Waiver. If we do not enforce something once, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. The same applies to you.

Third parties. Nobody other than you and Snabb may enforce these terms.

Force majeure. Neither of us is in breach because of something genuinely outside our control, for as long as it lasts — including an internet or mobile-network shutdown ordered by an authority, extended power failure, failure of a service we depend on, strike, curfew, civil disturbance, flood, earthquake, epidemic, or an act of government.

24. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them, are governed by the laws of Pakistan, including the Contract Act 1872, the Sale of Goods Act 1930 and the Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002. The courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction.

A consumer keeps their own district's court. A consumer may bring a claim before the Consumer Court for the district where they live, under the consumer protection Act of their own province or territory. Nothing in these terms takes that away, and nothing we could write would — that jurisdiction is conferred by statute. Nor would we want it to: telling somebody in Karachi, Peshawar or Quetta that a complaint must be taken to a court in another province is a clause written so that it is never used.
